Grooming update for Mirror Lake /Mill Hollow 02/20/2013

As of February 20 the snow condition improved over this past week. We had a small storm leave about Six inches to one foot of new snow on the top. On top there is about four to five feet of snow with about one to two feet at the trailheads.  The trails are in good shape. This week we are a little off track with our grooming runs. Tuesday Soapstone to the Noblets up mill hollow to Duchesne ridge was groomed. The cold springs loop down to the Hanna trailhead and back to Soapstone was also groomed Tuesday. Thursday the mirror Lake Highway up to Mirror Lake was groomed.  Friday soapstone up mill hollow  to the Lake Creek trail head and down to then Noblets trail head run is on track. We are expecting more snow then. Saturday we will groom Soapstone to Mill Hollow and down to the Lake Creek trailhead.   Watch out for danger while riding. With the new snow the Avalanche danger is moderate to considerable. Make sure you are wearing a beacon. Ride safe and enjoy the snow.

You can find a copy of our grooming schedule on this website at that you can print out. Remember that all our runs are done at night but we may be on the trail at any time so ride under control at all times.

Remember to go out prepared including survival and avalanche gear. Check on the avalanche conditions by going to  Ride safe and we will see you on the trails!!!
