Our last grooming run for the season on Beaver Mountain was Wednesday, March 13.
On Thursday, March 21 groomers drove a pickup truck nearly to the top of the mountain (leaving out of City Creek) before they hit any snow. We simply cannot take a snow cat over this kind of road.
Snow on top is 56". Check out the latest Snow-Tel Information: Big Flat
City Creek Trailhead: No snow. There are several miles of bare road before encountering snow.
Puffer Lake Trailhead: Road is open.
Kent's Lake Trailhead: Road is open.
We groomed the entire Monroe Mountain trail on Monday, March 18 for the last grooming run of the season. This includes from Koosharem Trailhead to Big Lake, PST 44 and down to Monrovian Park. There is no new snow on this trail. Because of warm temperatures, snow is hard and icy; ride with caution. Almost all the trees left behind on the trail by the loggers are covered by the fresh snow but we still recommend caution while riding through there – there are still a few protruding out into the trail – please be careful.
Koosharem Trailhead: No snow for several miles up the trail.
Monrovian Park Trailhead: No snow for several miles up the trail.

Fishlake to Gooseberry
We made the last grooming run of the season on Tuesday, March 19. There is no new snow and there are several bare spots between Mt. Terrill Guard Stationand Johnson's Reservoir. We groomed to the top of the mountain just west of Lost Creek Reservoir, but did not groom the trail down into Sand Ledges--there simply isn't enough snow on that trail.
Because fo warm temperatures, snow is hard and icy; ride with caution.
Fishlake Trailhead: No snow on the highway, we did not groom it this year.
Gooseberry Trailhead: You can drive a vehicle at least two miles past the trailhead and the snow continues to melt quickly.

We did not groom this trail this week for lack of snow at lower elevations. Our last grooming run of the season was Tuesday, March 12.
Highway 24 (Sand Ledges) Trailhead: No snow for 6-7 miles up the trail.
