The 2013 - 2014 season is fast approaching.  Currently all the roads are still open to motor vehciles and are do to close on December 15, 2013.  Utah State Parks has once again partnered with the Forest Service and Uintah County to groom the trails.  There have been a few changes and Uintah County is currently looking for a part-time paid snow cat operator to groom the trails in Uintah County.

All grooming operations will start when the Forest Service officially closes the roads on the mountain and an operator is hired.  So lets all hope for a good snow year and by all means get your snowmobiles tuned up, registered, and safety equipment all in good working order.  As a reminder, now is a great time to get your snowmobile riders who are under 16 through the safety course that is required by law.  The safety course can be taken at www.stateparks.utah.gov.
