We are aware of SR35 being plowed by UDOT and are working with Utah State Park officials in an effort to resolve the situation. Check back here often for updates.
January 6 Update - Through communication with State Parks, USA was informed tonight that there will be no more winter maintenance on SR35 performed by UDOT for the season. However, the gates will remain open until there is significant snowfall to close them. State Parks and UDOT have a meeting scheduled for mid-week to discuss how this situation will be better handled in the future when there are low snow conditions early on in the season. Further USA involvement will be decided pending the outcome of the mid-week meeting.
January 10 Update - SR35 is officially closed for the winter and Utah State Parks will start grooming operations tonight.
