The roads at East Park, Taylor Mountain and Dry Fork have been closed by the Forest Service. Uintah County has hired a part-time snow cat operator for the complex. Grooming operations have yet to begin. There is currently 17 inches of snow at trout creek with the trailheads having 3 inches of packed snow.  Grooming operations will begin when there is enough snow to allow for safe operation of the snow cat..

As a reminder, now is a great time to get your snowmobile riders , who are under 16, through the safety course that is required by law. The safety course can be taken at www.stateparks.utah.gov.
