Grooming Report 01/17/2016

We have recived new snow throughout the valley. Be aware of the windslabs and avalanche danger.

 

Groomed Trails Scehdule

01/17: Mud Creek, Clyde Creek an Marina

01/18: Co-Op, Lake Creek trailhead, Strawberry River and Lou's cut off

01/19: Mud Creek, Clyde Creek, Marina, Indain Creek and Trail Hollow

01/21: Co-Op, Lake Creek trailhead, Strawberry River and Lou's cut off

01/22: Marina, Indain Creek, Trail Hollow, Warming Hut

01/23: Co-Op, Lake Creek Summit, Strawberry River and Lou's cut off

01/24: Mud Creek, Clyde Creek an Marina

 

Please make sure if you are NOT PARKING along the road that goes into the strawberry marina. Your vehicle will be ticketed and towed.

 

Pray for snow.

Avalanche danger is higher than normal. Please be aware of north and north eastern slopes.

 

 

Make sure your sleds are properly equipped for the season, REGISTERED and decals are displayed properly.  Be sure to put a copy of the registration somewhere on your sled while you operate and transport them.

 

Anyone (Utah resident or non-resident) between the age of 8 and 15 must possess Utah Safety Certificate to operate a snowmobile, ATV, or Motorcycle in Utah. To sign up for a classes at www.stateparks.utah.gov/ohv

 

Remember No Wheeled Vehicles Over 800 LBS on any of the groomed trails in Utah.

 

Be aware of UNMARKED HAZARDS.

 

You can find a copy of our grooming schedule at Snowut. Remember that our runs are done at during the day and night so we may be on the trail at any time so ride under control at all times.

 

Always make sure you are aware of the Avalanche danger.  Make sure you are wearing a beacon at all times. Remember to go out prepared including survival and avalanche gear. Check on the avalanche conditions by going to Utah Avalanche Center or Avalanche.

ALWAYS make sure you let someone know where you will be riding and when you will return.
