Logan Canyon Snowmobile Trail Grooming report for 11/28/2016:

We do not plan to start snowmobile trail grooming activities until December 15th. This may change if we have sufficient snow and with permission from our OHV program coordinator from our Salt Lake office.

As of approximately 1:00 pm today (with today's snow storm):
* Tony Grove trailhead/parking lot had @ 8" of new snow on top of the asphalt road.
* Franklin Basin trailhead/parking lot had @ 10" to 12" of new snow on top of the dirt road.
* Beaver Creek trailhead/parking lot had @ 12" to 14" of new snow on top of the dirt road.
* The Sinks trailhead/parking lot had @ 8" of new snow on top of the dirt.
This is all new snow that does not have a base underneath it. We will need and additional 12" to 24" more snow before we can start trail grooming operations. Most locations have sage brush still showing through the snow.

A snowmobiler who had been up to Tony Grove Lake reported between 2.5' and 3' of new snow at Tony Grove Lake.
