Not Enough Snow to Groom

January 3, 2018
Well, if you’ve been up on Cedar Mountain this year, you know there isn’t much snow to speak of. The unusually warm, dry fall weather has not let us start grooming operations. We need at least 24” of snow on the ground to run the snowcat and groomer safely, so until we get quite a bit more snow, we won’t be grooming. We’ll let you know about snow levels as they happen, and when we can start grooming. For information or questions, contact us at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park – 435-648-2800 or coralpink@utah.gov
