Groomed January 19

Snow conditions are Better now than we have had in the past few years. The snow is not very deep at the bottom but gains depth as you head up the mountain. We did a run January 19. There is still some good riding to be had. The trail is holding up great so far, we are hoping for more snow this week. There continues to be a lot of use. Be cautious and watch for rocks and fallen trees, just about every week this season we have had to remove some more trees that have fallen across the trail. We have a great team of volunteers who are doing the grooming, if you see them out say hi and thanks for the great job they do. There are still some rocks showing at the side’s of the trail on the top of the ridge. As the snow conditions stay good we will groom weekly. We hope you enjoy your time in the back country. As you find yourself venturing out, please, please be careful and wear all your protective gear. That includes a beacon. If you have any questions or comments for us, feel free to drop us a line.

Final Run

Snow conditions still good, but looking for some more storms to improve conditions. Our Volunteer did take the groomer up the last week in February and made a run. Unless there is a considerable storm, we will not be making another grooming run. The snow is not very deep at the bottom, and there are growing paches of dirt road showing, but is fairly good up on top. There is still some good riding to be had. Be cautious and watch for rocks and fallen trees. We hope you enjoy your time in the back country. As you find yourself venturing out, please, please be careful and wear all your protective gear. That includes a beacon. If you have any questions for us, feel free to drop us a line.  Enjoy Presidents Day
We have some great volunteer groomers, that have done a great job. Thanks.

Groomed Jan 24

Snow conditions are not very good. We did take the groomer up Friday January 24 and made a run to take out some of the woops. The snow is not very deep even up on top but there is still some good riding to be had. This trail is experiencing heavier than usual use. Be cautious and watch for rocks and fallen trees. We had a great team of volunteers go up and clean the trail of fallen trees and there were several very large ones across the trail. They did an excellent job. and they all worked hard to give you a good riding area. We hope you enjoy your time in the back country. As you find yourself venturing out, please, please be careful and wear all your protective gear. That includes a beacon. If you have any questions for us, feel free to drop us a line.
