Grooming Report for 1/31/2013

Grooming was done in Ephraim Canyon on Monday the 28th and there was about 1 foot of new snow on top.  The trail is still looking good and snow it almost to the top of the t-posts.  12 Mile canyon was groomed on Tuesday the 29th and it was snowing all day during the grooming run.  There was at least a foot and a half of new snow and it was snowing.  With the new snow all of the rocks are now covered but not with a lot of snow, so use caution when riding off trail.  Also with the new snow there is a higher chance of avalanche danger.  Always check the latest avalanche danger at utahavalanchecenter.org/advisory/skyline#advanced for this area.

Grooming Report 1/17/2013

Good news!!  The truck got fixed and we were able to do some grooming.  All 3 of our trails (Ephraim, Manti and 12 Mile) have now been groomed.  There was about 12 inches of new snow up on top making there about 4 to 5 feet of snow.  The trails are looking good.  Off trail most of the rocks have been covered up only by a little, so be careful when riding off trail.  Be sure to check the avalanche dangers before going out.  Go to utahavalanchecenter.org/advisory/skyline#advanced to check the latest conditions for the area.  And be sure to take the proper gear and equipment for all conditions.  Be safe and have fun!!

Grooming Report for 1/15/2013

Because of issues with the truck that we haul the SnoCat with we will not be able to groom any of our trails. We hope to have the truck fixed and get back to grooming as soon as we can.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may create. When we get the truck fixed we will update on here so check back soon.  And as always be sure to check avalanche conditions before you go and take the correct equipment and gear.  Have fun but keep it safe.

Grooming report 1/8/2013

All three canyons have been groomed and are looking really good.  There are a lot of rocks showing still so be careful when riding off trail. We are planning on grooming again on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week depending on conditions and weather. With the new snow coming there may be an increased chance of avalanche so use caution.

Manti Ephraim and Twelve Mile

As of 1/3/13 all three trails have been groomed... Manti was done today and had the least amount of snow to it.  Grooming was done Further than normal so this should give the snowmobilers a better base to the top.  Next grooming run is planned for early next week.

Ephraim and Twelve mile first run

Epraim was groomed on 12-28-12 and Twelvemile was groomed 12-29-12.  There is about 24-36 inches of powder on the top.  Still be careful as there were still a few stumps and rocks visible.  There were riders in both areas and they were enjoying the snow.  Be safe and lets hope the snow keeps coming!

Grooming Report for 2/23/2012

 Hello everyone!

12 Mile Canyon was groomed on Tuesday and Ephraim Canyon and Manti Canyon were groomed on Wednesday.  This last storm dropped some good snow in the uppper elevations.  All three trails are in good shape with a few bare spots on the lower elevations.  Even with this new snow there is still a high risk of hitting rocks if snowmobiling off the groomed trail, so use caution.  We plan on grooming again on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week if all goes well.

Go out and enjoy this snow before it starts to warm up and all melt away!

Thanks
