Larry Johansen I groomed north skyline drive from the fairview top parking lot to Bennion creek and Bear ridge from skyline drive to the starvation trail junction. Snow condition at the higher elevations was 3 foot base of snow with a foot of new down to two foot where I stopped grooming
First run of season !!
A few inches of new snow overnight made for a great grooming run.
Went from Fairview parking lot north past Fish Creek Ridge and a few miles down Clear Creek. Then turned around and came back.
Windy ridgelines lack snow, however most of the trail is fine.
The lastest storm produced 2-4" of new snow. That brings most areas up to around a foot of snow.
Grooming will begin when we have a packed base of 24"
Snow totals on top of Skyline are only around 6-10" in most spots and even less on the trailheads. The Left fork of the White River and Tucker have little or no snow. We will start packing runs when we get a couple feet.
